Blasted to shards by
way of friendly fire,

I've got new skin
I've got it back
almost lost it while

so important schemes, never did they include me

Existing only to nourish yours, while you watched my
heart drain right through my pores.
Though weathered and lined from trying so hard, I
have no regrets, but I have accumulated many scars.
I must shed this skin that you want me to fit in and
nourish my own, this beautiful new skin which I have
finally grown.
This new skin that I have grown will be strong and
supple, open to the touch of someone who truly wants
to be a couple, it will glow with warmth and protect

Caramel

I am made from sugar that has been reduced and often times burned.,
Yet staying sweet and always delivering a smile in return.
Once I've cooled I become so chewy I'll stick to your heart and make you feel deliciously gooey. My peaches and cream days still live in my heart as they were the sugar I had from the start. Transforming into a delectable delight didn't just happen over night...I had to go through the flames and feel the burn...I than added some sprinkles from the salt of my tears that have come from some hard times that I have lived through the years...so please enjoy me,..I really want you to...And know that all of my heavens and Hells have made me into a deliciously sweet and salty caramel.
